How to contact me
Email: hello@smartrefurbish.net
What I collect
When you use the order form on the Contact page, I collect:
- your name and email address
- the Amazon or eBay listing link you send
- the package you choose, and whether your brand is in Amazon Brand Registry
- anything else you choose to write in your message
If you become a client, I also keep the details needed to deliver the work and for my business records, such as the files you send me, what you ordered and what you paid. I do not see or store your card details. Payments are handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe or PayPal).
If you subscribe to the email newsletter, I collect your email address.
Why I use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to your request and send you a quote: to take steps you asked for before entering into a contract.
- To deliver the work you ordered: to perform our contract.
- To keep business and tax records: to meet my legal obligations.
- To send the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
I will never sell your information or use it for anything unrelated to your request.
Who I share it with
I only share your information with the services I need to run this website and business:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and stores form submissions
- Google (Gmail), which I use to receive and answer emails
- Payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal, if you pay for an order
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: up to 6 years after the work, as required for tax purposes.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
- ask me to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict how I use it
- withdraw your consent at any time, where I rely on consent
- ask for your information in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email me at the address above. I will reply within one month.
